Whew, since most of you guys seem to dislike the new forum, I've got
nothing else to say than: "Your wish is my command, dude!!"
Yeah, I've got to agree in one thing: the old forum is more fun!! So I guess
as long as you guys could keep posting about me doing some nasty stuffs to a
minimum the old forum is good enough for us.

Alright guys, I've been playing around with our new forums, since many
of you complaints about the "uncool" stuff for not being able to
post an article without using many alias so I've decided to open the forum
to anyone without the need of registering themselves first. I've slimmed the
forums to two section: BMX Talks and IBSO's Corner. The BMX Talks is open
for anyone and does not require any registration but since IBSO's Corner is
intended for IBSO's Officials, I'm afraid that I've got to make
certain that a person who posts on that forum are indeed an IBSO's Official,
in the other words, the IBSO's officials HAVE TO register themselves
to be able to enter IBSO's Corner.
That's it for tonight... I suggest you all to give those forums a try.. I
know sometimes changes sucks!! But it is for our own good!!!
P.S: To all IBSO's Officials, contact me after registering yourselves for a
password to enter IBSO's Corner!!!

I've made a new forum at EZBoards In order to have more control to
the forum's posters. From now on, you are required to be registered to the
forum to be able to post a massage there, in my opinion that would keep the
forum's member to post messages that might hurt someone.
The registration is quite simple, I will post an article later on how to
register yourself to the forum. The forum also featured a cool
personalization such as "emoticons" (the icon that show your mood)
and your own personal picture or "avatars".
To IBSO's officials: I've also made a special forum called
"Azrael's Corner", on that forum we might talk about confidential
"hush-hush" and any other IBSO's related stuffs. After you are
registered, you will be asked for a password to enter "Azrael's
Corner" for the first time. Register yourself, and I will email you the
secret password.
That's all for now. Keep on Riding!!

After few days we've become off-line because of some "technical"
problems that occurred (ehm..ehm), I gladly could say that we're back in business!!
Here are some of the updates:
What's going on
recently:
We're appear on Aneka Yess! Magazine this month!! It featured
mostly about what we do every weekends on PI Trail... You could find a
picture of Brian flying in the air and a pivture of most of the gang personnel.
One small jump of Brian, one giant leap of IBSO!!! I advise you to buy one,
put the article in a frame and hang it on your bedroom wall!! Someday you
could brag your children that you were on a magazine... and you could tell
Dandy that he's not the only one!!
I also put some
links to Prambors Rasisonia Radio Station, Surf Time Magazine, Aneka Yess!,
and Djakarta Magazine on the Zines & Other Media
section.. I figured since those media support us, we might as well support
them.
And in my spare time
(during the "offline" period) I've made some "artsy"
IBSO wallpaper for my PC's desktop. For you guys who'd like to see what
those so called "work of art" are or just wanted to please me, go
to the art gallery, and simply click the
thumbnail to see bigger pics or right click the big pic and choose Save
as Wallpaper on the drop down menu to use it as your desktop wallpaper.

This last weekend was pretty tiring for us. We've been asked by TTB
Sport Club to organize a street competition event in Bogor this Sunday, June
3. 2001 along with a festival to celebrate Bogor's anniversary.
The event was held on a basketball court!! We've just knew that this
Saturday, when Iga and me go to the site to meet a man from TTB Sport Club.
We were quite shocked by the situation, not to mention that beside that
basketball court there's a big football field as the center of the festival
which at that time were used by the event committee for a "dangdut"
concert so our street comp. equipments could not be prepared as schedule
because they afraid that the "dangdut" spectators, who usually are
a pretty "rough" people, might somehow do some
"vandalism" to our equipments. So we've got to wait until the
concert was over, and fortunately TTB Sport Club was kind enough to reserved
us three rooms at Pangrango 2 Hotel.
The course preparation took quite a long time. Beside there were no
sufficient lightning to help us work at 3.00 am, putting down those huge
equipments were not an easy job. At around 4 am we've finally finished the
preparation and we went to have a litle z's in our first class rooms!
At 6.30 am we've
got to go back to the site to prepare ourselves for the event admission and
any final preparation to the street course.
When we arrived there there already a large crowd on the street course, most
of them are BMX Riders and some of them are just a bunch of spectators
wondering what those bunch of "equipments" are.
At about 9.00 am we've open the admission, and while Iga and friends getting busy with those BMXers who wanted to participate on the event, Me and the others took the last inspection to the street course, and at about 10.00 am we've let the riders to take a trial run at the street course.
We've started the competition
at about 11.30 am. The qualification run and the first run were as
smooth as Iwan's bare ass!! Everything were just like we've planned before
but after the first run over, the rain was down so we've got to stop for few
hours.
We've try our best to dry the course when the rain was over and after few of
the participant riders said that the street course was save enough, we've
started the second run Too bad the almighty God had a different plan for
us!! In the middle of Junior Class' second run, the rain started to pouring
down again!! So some of the Junior Class participant could not do their
second run.
We've finally decided to use their best run to find the result and thanks God that although the time that we've got to organize everything was pretty short, the event was considered a success!! The riders seemed to enjoy the atmosphere, the spectators seemed to enjoy the attractions that the riders performed, the event sponsor seemed to enjoy the organizer's performance.
That's all for tonight. I'll posted the competition result tomorrow night along with the competition highlights.
